This space is all about you! Here you can find the musings of a very normal person trying to eat healthier, on a budget and with limit time. My hope is that you find inspiration and ideas to help you do the same. We can get so used to the way we handle food, that we don't realise the long term damaged we are doing to ourselves. Despite how overwhelming it can be to start eating healthier, it is SO important that we all embark on a journey to do so. If you don't know where to start, pick a challenge from below to get you going. Let me know how it goes or what works for you.

Pick a challenge to work on every month

  • CHALLENGE 1 | DON’T DRINK SUGAR

    It is CRAZY how much sugar you can drink without thinking about what you are putting into your body. Do you body a favour and show it love by cutting out all soft drinks and fruit juices.

  • CHALLENGE 2 | WALK 30 MINUTES

    You NEED to get your body moving. Start with a brisk walk twice a week. This will do a world of good for both your emotional and your physical health.

  • CHALLENGE 3 | EAT YOUR VEGGIES

    Prepare a BIG container of vegetables on Sunday, then add them to all your lunches and dinners that week. Eat a handful of the vegetables, before you dig into the rest of your meal.

  • CHALLENGE 4 | GET OUT

    Explore the city in a unique way you haven’t before. There are golf course trail runs, night cycles through the CBD, paddles through the canals and under ground tours. Pick one, sign up and let the adventure begin!

  • CHALLENGE 5 | RELAX IN NATURE

    There are SO many beautiful green space in and just outside of every city. Take an hour each week this month to go and relax in one. Give your self space to unwind, take some deep breaths and perhaps watch the clouds past by.

  • CHALLENGE 6 | READ UP

    You don’t have to read a whole book, but get in touch with the latest discussions on health or learn the nutritional value of an ingredient or two. Every week pick a topic and research it for 10 minutes.

  • CHALLENGE 7 | PLAN

    Planning is the foundation of clean eating. Start by planning and prepping your lunches for the week.

  • CHALLENGE 8 | TRY SOMETHING NEW

    We all tend to stick to something we know. This week give a new food a try. You never know, it might become a staple.

  • CHALLENGE 9 | STRETCH

    Oh how we neglect our bodies! Put that phone down! Instead of reaching for your phone first thing in the morning, take the first 10 minutes to stretch everyday this week. Your body will thank-you.
